4 Ways to Power Up Your Day at the Office

activities at the office like walking on treadmill

Just like the river rushes in the thaw and trickles in the drought, so can the pep in our step. Put a little pick-me-up in your day when you feel that trickling. Simply get off your fanny. Yep. It’s amazing how your body and mind will engage. Really any movement can count. As Nike says “Just Do It!”

Here are four ways we Power Up our days at the office:

  1. Get outside and walk the parking lot or driveway after lunch. A wise doctor once told me there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.  I even keep a pair of walking shoes at the office. Trust me; stilettos aren’t feet friendly for lengthy walks.

  2. Purchase an inexpensive balance ball to use as an office chair. Ok, this may not be eliminating fanny time, but your body will be engaged.

  3. Use your company fitness area during breaks. We’re known for having conference calls while walking on treadmills.

  4. Stand up and stretch during your breaks.

Boost your energy and you won’t feel like you’ve been washed down the river.
