To help with weight loss, be sure to drink at least 1 glass of water about 30 minutes before you eat.
Turns out there are two reasons:
• Brain signals for hunger and thirst have a tendency to get cross wired. If you’re merely thirsty, this will take care of the thirst signal. If you’re still hungry in ½ hour, you’ll know for sure you need to eat.
• Having a bit of water in your stomach will help it fill up faster, so you won’t be eating as much food.
