Difficulties Losing Weight? You Might Need Vitamin D

Many of us are vitamin D deficient. If you happen to be one of them, you may have a difficult time losing weight according to a recent study *.

The good news is, there’s something you can do about it. This same study found that the higher the vitamin D level the greater the loss of abdominal (belly) fat.

Dr. Sibley, the lead researcher of the study, says, “Our results suggest the possibility that the addition of vitamin D to a reduced-calorie diet will lead to better weight loss.”

So, if you are eating a healthy diet and can’t seem to lose weight; you might want to check with your doctor about your vitamin D level.
