Eating Out Tips & Tricks

Our CEO, Sid, has to be one of the best role models of our diet when eating out. Don’t believe me? You must listen to Joe’s story. Sid was his biggest influence come to find out. 

What He Does
First he skims the menu looking for those words. You know them…broccoli, strawberries, veggie medley, black beans, corn, squash, Granny Smith apples…and the list goes on. You’ll be pleased at the fiber-rich foods you can find on a menu.

What’s so special about finding those words? He does one of two things.

  1. Adds those foods to a entree he already has his eye on. OR
  2. Creates a brand new dish out of the foods he finds on the menu. 

I’ll have to admit that I’m usually envious of his plate. 

Hummm…Still Not Sure?
Are you thinking restaurants would not be open to something like this? I’ll have to say that I’ve never had a restaurant not accommodate a request. Try it! What’s the worse thing they can say?
