Healthy Shopping With Kids

A mom and daughter working on their grocery list together

Taking kids to the grocery store can help them get more excited about eating natural, fiber-rich foods. It’s an adventure that gives kids a sense of ownership in the meals that get made at home.

You can even make a game of it.

Rip your shopping list in half and split into two teams -- each parent can take one team. Then see who can find everything on their list first.

When the natural, fiber-rich foods you buy end up on the dinner table, your kids will be reminded of the fun they had shopping together. And guess what? Good memories about healthy foods can get kids more excited about eating them.
