Live in Such a Way You Won't Need Exercise

It’s  2013. I don’t have time to exercise. So I won’t. But I will be tracking my daily 10,000 steps.

It’s 2013. I personally have no cow to milk at the crack of dawn. I’ve never had to plow my back yard, and my nicely heated car seat lovingly hugs me all the way to the grocery store and back. At the office I have a comfortable, special order ergonomic chair that fits my body just right.  And when the sun is setting on my day the thought of hiding in a bush with a spear while stalking my dinner never crosses my mind.

It’s 2013. There’s a local store in town that’s open 24 hours a day. They sell all kinds of exercise equipment, but that’s not what I’m interested in. I want a simple counting device that sits on my hip, or shoe, or waist. It’s called a pedometer, and the cheap version is so low tech I laugh when I hold it in my hand. But it’ll do the trick.

It’s  2013. I don’t have time to exercise. So I won’t. But I will be tracking my daily 10,000 steps.

It’s 2013…will you join me?
