My Kids Won’t Eat That – Picky Eater Series

The chances of my kiddos willingly trying Pluots were near 0%. The odds swung in our favor thanks to Dinosaur Eggs

Pluots are essentially Plums. Whoever named them Pluots should be fired because Pluot doesn’t translate to “a good thing” in the minds of little people. So, some bright food marketer decided to try promoting Pluots in the produce isle as Dinosaur Eggs.

At the next meal after a shopping trip my wife calls out, “who wants to try Dinosaur Eggs?”  Every hand was raised with delight!

Summary: Of the delighted takers only half of them gave the fruit a favorable review. But the BIG news was half of them actually ate the entire Pluot.

What's the food that you have the hardest time getting your kiddos to try?
