Please Don’t Kill Her!

heart shape made with veggies

She works so hard for you, always supporting your plans. She never complains or asks for a raise. Her breaks are so brief they go unnoticed. She always makes sure everyone on your team has nourishment, even when you’re too busy to stop to eat. She loves you so much, why would you kill her?

I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to be a murderer. Help me out here. How am I killing her?

By filling her workspace with fat.

Okay, that’s easy enough.  I’ll just get rid of a lot of fatty food.

That’s a good start, but there’s actually another way to flood her workspace with fat that doesn’t seem obvious.

Really? What’s that?

Filling it with sugar and white flour foods.

Like what?

Juices, sodas, cookies, cakes, pastries, donuts, pancakes, white bread, white rolls and biscuits, white pasta and pizza can unleash a torrent of fat.

So what do I do instead?

Bring things like water and apples, blueberries, black beans and avocado, roasted veggies, whole grain bread with peanut butter and banana. You get the idea.

So please don’t kill her. You can’t make it without her. Have a heart.
