Sneak Preview of Our New Kids Book

We’re almost halfway finished in funding the new children’s book! We have ONE WEEK left to meet the goal, and with your support, that’s exactly what we’ll do. If you want a tool to get your kids excited about healthy foods, please help us bring the Superfoods to life by pledging to our Kickstarter page.

Many of you have reached out to us over the past two weeks to offer encouragement and support. So I wanted to briefly give you a preview of what this new book will include.

Archie (AKA Super Apple) loves encouraging kids and adults to eat more fruits; but one day, he hears a doctor on TV say “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Archie is very confused because it sounds like this doctor wants to stay away from apples, and she’s telling other people to do the same. So Archie buys a plane ticket and goes on an adventure to make things right, discovering the meaning of this important health phrase along the way. This is an action-packed, vibrantly illustrated book with dinosaurs, aliens, and lots of fun to keep your kids engaged and get them excited about healthy foods.

As a thank you for your pledge, here are some items we have for you:

  • Your name printed in the back of the book to honor your support
  • Copies of the finished book
  • Copies of a brand-new Superfoods coloring book
  • Your child’s face illustrated into the book (or yours!)
  • And more!

As a non-profit, we’re dedicated to helping families live healthier lives, and we hope to further that tradition by creating something for kids. Join us in the endevor today.

One last note: If you care about child nutrition but don’t personally have young children, please consider sharing this project with friends or pledging on behalf of someone else. You can even sponsor the book for a classroom at an underprivileged elementary school!

Thanks again for your support. We’re lucky to serve such an amazing community of people.
