What is Your Reason to Lose Weight?

Sometimes life can become so overwhelming that taking care of yourself slips to the bottom of the priority list. And it’s easy to get depressed and start thinking thoughts like “why bother.” It’s very important to keep your purpose for losing weight in focus.

Here are some reasons to take that next step toward a healthier you.

  • Have more energy
  • Look great in a swimsuit
  • Perform better at work
  • Run or walk a 5K (or Marathon!)
  • Keep up with your kids
  • Live Longer
  • Make an impression at  a homecoming or alumni event
  • Surprise your doctor
  • Fit in a favorite pair of jeans
  • Avoid or recover from disease

Share Your Reason to Slim Down

Sharing your motivation with others is a great way to stay accountable to your purpose. To do this,  make a public Facebook or Twitter post and tag Full Plate Diet so we’ll see it. You can also share pictures of what inspires you to stay slim (such as your children, your pets, upcoming reunion, etc).

Example: I’m using @fullplatediet principles to slim down because our family will be going to the beach this summer.
