Berry Delight Smoothie

Need a quick fiber boost but don't have much time? You can whiz up 10g of fiber in this smoothie under 5 minutes. Enjoy for breakfast, or whenever the need arises.



Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk low fat, skim, rice, almond or soy
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed frozen berries , unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend on high until smooth and creamy, 1-2 minutes.

Tips

For ice scream like consistency, use a frozen banana. Make your own  by peeling banana and cutting it into four pieces the night before. Place in ziplock bag and freeze overnight.
