The buttery taste of perfectly grilled brussels sprouts make them a perfect side for most meat dishes. They're even fabulous as leftovers.
6 cups brussels sprouts , frozen
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup onion , chopped
1 tablespoon Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon salt , or to taste
- Steam or cook Brussels sprouts as directed or until al dente.
- In a large skillet, sauté onion in olive oil until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add butter spread.
- Add the Brussels sprouts, water, and salt to mixture.
- Cook until Brussels sprouts are desired tenderness, about 6 minutes.
