Grilled Brussels Sprouts

The buttery taste of perfectly grilled brussels sprouts make them a perfect side for most meat dishes. They're even fabulous as leftovers.


  • 6 cups brussels sprouts , frozen
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion , chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon salt , or to taste


  1. Steam or cook Brussels sprouts as directed or until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté onion in olive oil until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add butter spread.
  4. Add the Brussels sprouts, water, and salt to mixture.
  5. Cook until Brussels sprouts are desired tenderness, about 6 minutes.
