1.5 cups pinto beans dry
1 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons cumin ground
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper ground
2 cups vegetable broth low sodium
2.5 cups water
1 teaspoon olive oil

Directions

Soak beans overnight, then rinse and remove any loose skins. Toss soaking water.

Pour your beans in the pressure cooker and add chili powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Add vegetable stock, water and oil. Make sure the pressure cooker is not about the half fill line.

Close pressure cooker lid securely. Turn stove on medium heat, set pressure cooker to the 1st notch, and cook for 12 minutes. Follow pressure cooker directions on letting steam out and taking the beans out.

Cool slightly before serving.
