Sauteed Baby Spinach

The red bell pepper adds a hint of sweetness to this great high fiber staple. 


  • 12 oz spinach , raw
  • 1/2 cup onion , thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup red bell peppers , thinly sliced
  • 3/4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt , or to taste


  1. Wash spinach.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté garlic, onion, and pepper in olive oil until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add spinach, stir together, and cook until spinach is wilted, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Mix in seasoning and serve hot.
