Ingredients

  • 4 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats

Directions

Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir together. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30-35 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally while cooking.
