Program Demo: Weight Loss Equation

Video Transcript

There are approximately 3,500 calories in a pound. If you guessed correctly, Congratulations! (unless you cheated and Googled the answer…)

Since one pound equals about 3,500 calories, if you cut 3,500 calories out of what you usually eat, you could expect to lose one pound.

That’s why people go crazy counting calories. They want to consume as few calories as possible so the pounds fall off fast. They decide it’s worth being hungry, grumpy, sleepy, or otherwise miserable. All for losing pounds they’re almost sure to regain later.

There’s a better way…and it starts with you answering one basic question:

Am I eating enough to lose weight?

Take a moment to memorize that question as best you can before you click continue.
