Fiber Rich Brownie

The secret ingredient in these delightful brownies are black beans. Perfect powered up with some fresh berries.

Although this is a healthier way to enjoy brownies, they're still a dessert, so be mindful of the serving size.

Ingredients

1 15-oz canned black beans low sodium, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup egg whites or egg beaters
3 tablespoons canola oil
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cups sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Pour beans, eggs, oil, salt, and vanilla in a blender or food processor. Blend

    until smooth.

  3. Add cocoa powder and sugar to mixture and blend until evenly mixed.

  4. Pour mixture into a greased 8x8 glass pan.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Tips

Make this dessert unforgettable by eating it with a cup of raspberries.
